The purpose of this qualification is to strengthen and deepen student's knowledge of management accounting and to develop their research capacity in the said field of study. It will also prepare students for a career in management accounting, either as academics or in practice.

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare students for a career in cost and management accounting as well as for Postgraduate studies in the field of management accounting. This qualification is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Once obtained, it allows students direct access to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management Accounting, which is also accredited by CIMA. Students who obtain the latter qualification will automatically be admitted to Strategic Level examination.
