Exit level outcomes
(i) Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of development through in-depth research.
(ii) Contribute to the solution of development problems through inputs into the formulation of development policies.
Associated assessment criteria
Integrated assessment
(i) Demonstrate ability to develop and undertake applied research.
(ii) Publish at least one research paper on an aspect of his/her doctoral thesis in a SAPSE recognised journal.
(iii) Present and defend his/her research findings
(iv) Submit a detailed thesis on his/her research topic
