Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of prior learning
(i) A good pass in the Mathematical Sciences B Sc(Hons) Programme or
(ii) A good pass in an equivalent Mathematical Sciences programme from UFH or another University /Technikon. The Heads of the Departments in the School of Mathematical Sciences will decide on the equivalence of the programme.

(i) General content knowledge of topics (e.g. formal proofs of theorems);
(ii) Deep and mature understanding of content topics and abstraction in Mathematics (e.g. interpretation of abstract statements and their application);

Students in this programme may carry at most 512 credits into M Sc (Mathematics), M Sc (Mathematical Statistics), M Sc (Computer Science) and M Sc (Physics). Students from the listed programmes may also be admitted into the programme carrying 512 credits. Programme leads to Doctorate in the listed fields.

Purpose:
The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy. The qualification will be treated according to the policies and procedures of the institution regarding master's dissertations, monitoring, and assessment of learners' progress in the qualification, provision for learners disputes regarding assessment results and Recognition of Prior Learning.
