- Have consolidated computational and numerical skills for solving mathematical equations that arise in real life situations such as industry, commerce, and government.
- Have confidence in formulating, solving, analysing and interpreting mathematical modules that arise in industry, medicine, business management commerce, etc.
- Acquire insight and desire for advanced training study in applied and applicable mathematics.

Skills acquired will be of benefit for resolving related problems that are of mathematical type obtaining in theoretical physics, engineering, economics, business studies and Mathematical biology.
Associated assessment criteria
This will consist of continuous assessment, which involves tutorials, class seminars, written examinations in all the prescribed modules, and a written dissertation in one of the modules.

Purpose:
The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy. The qualification will be treated according to the policies and procedures of the institution regarding master's dissertations, monitoring, and assessment of learners' progress in the qualification, provision for learners disputes regarding assessment results and Recognition of Prior Learning.
