Purpose and rationale

Purpose

The qualification is research based. Learners will have well developed skills to initiate research and be able to write a research protocol in Radiography. Learners will successfully complete a dissertation on the relevant research and will maintain lifelong learning ensuring continuing self-development and development of the field.

Entry requirements and RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience. In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.

Entry requirements

The minimum entry requirement for this qualification is

  • Bachelor of Radiography Honours in Nuclear Medicine, Level 8.

Or

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography, Level 8.

Or

  • Bachelor of Radiography in Nuclear Medicine, Level 8.

The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy. The qualification will accommodate learners with a postgraduate diploma and relevant honours/qualifications on NQF level 8, a minimum of 120 credits achieved at other institutions as well as vertical articulation from relevant master's degrees.
