Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience.
In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.

- Bachelor of Management Science Honours, NQF Level 8.

- Research advanced management science principles, techniques, tools and systems in research and the working environment, to optimise the operations and services of the enterprise.

- Apply production and operations management advanced tools and techniques into integrated JIT, TOC, TQM, and other productivity improvement system approaches. These techniques must be usable by hand in principle but applied to computers in practice.
- Apply management techniques and systems (computer-based and manual) from lower-level qualification outcomes (levels 5 through 7) into an integrated focus area or department to effectively plan, organise, lead and control this area as a part of the total enterprise.

- Demonstration of ability through a research dissertation, which is assessed continuously for system, style, content and correctness of the use of research principles.
- Extend the research dissertation, including the application of the researched principles.
Integrated Assessment
- Continuous evaluation of the dissertation.
- Completion of assignments on case studies, writing of tests and examinations.

The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy.
