  • Bachelor of Technology (B Tech): Industrial: Engineering, Level 7.
  • Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Honours, Level 8.
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering, Level 8.
  • Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) Degree in Industrial Engineering, Level 7 or equivalent.

Exit level outcomes

Conduct research and development in a specialised area and engage in the transfer of technology in the field of Industrial Engineering or Operations Management.

  1. Display proficiency in the theory and application of research methodology.
  2. Engage in original research by problem formulation, gathering and analysing information and decision-making.
  3. Publish research.

Associated assessment criteria

  1. Competence in formulating problems, gathering and analysing of information, drawing conclusions and publishing of results is demonstrated correctly.

Integrated Assessment

Will be formatively and summatively assessed by regular evaluation of progress by supervisor and final evaluation of thesis by an external examiner and/or panel of selected evaluators. Theoretical aspects will be complemented by practical input, experience and expertise from industry.
