Purpose and rationale
The qualification aims
- To provide learners with in-depth knowledge of the basic subfields in International Relations such as: International Relations Theory, International Organisations, International Law, International Politics Economy, Foreign Policy Analysis, African International Relations, Political Science Research Methodology.
- To lay the basis for further training in international relations which is more career orientated.
- To enable learners to acquire knowledge in political research methodology, theories and techniques in research projects.
- To provide learners with specialised theoretical knowledge and experience as well as analytical and technical skills in international relations.
- To equip learners with the necessary political and economic knowledge in the conduct and operation of international relations.
Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience. In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.

- Bachelor of Arts Honours in International Relations, NQF Level 8.

Purpose:
The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy. The qualification will be treated according to the policies and procedures of the institution regarding master's dissertations, monitoring, and assessment of learners' progress in the qualification, provision for learners disputes regarding assessment results and Recognition of Prior Learning.
