Purpose and rationale
- A learner who achieves qualifications in this programme will be a competent reader, writer and speaker of Afrikaans at advanced level.
- A learner will acquire the ability to understand in what ways language can be a tool of oppression/liberation in the broader South African and beyond. The learner will be capable of researching aspects related to this and communicating its results clearly.
- A learner will acquire the ability to do advanced research in the field of literature and linguistics.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience.
In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.
Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement for this qualification is
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Afrikaans, Level 8.
Or
- Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Afrikaans, Level 8.

The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy.
