Purpose and rationale
The first purpose of the qualification is to provide qualifiers with specialised knowledge, specific skills and applied competence in the field of pasture and rangeland management, that provide for continued personal intellectual growth, gainful economic activity and rewarding contributions to society.
The second purpose of this qualification is to provide Southern Africa with agricultural specialists who will have a clear and continuously growing understanding of the basic principles of plant production, and in particular the management of fodder, forage, hay and silage crops in different animal production systems.

Access may be gained to the qualification through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

- Bachelor of Institutional Agriculture Honours, Level 8.
Or
- Bachelor of Science Honours in Agriculture, Level 8.

- Bachelor of Science Honours in Pasture Science, Level 8.
Or
- An equivalent Degree at Level 8.

There are two routes which can be followed to achieve the Master of Philosophy:
Purpose:
The intended purpose of this Master of Accountancy is to provide the learners with a professional, vocational, and sound understanding of the general theoretical principles and their applications in the field of research accountancy.
