Entry requirements and RPL

A Bachelor of Science or Medical Science degree with an average of 60% in Level 3 course in Anatomy.

Exit level outcomes

  1. Learners will have the ability to use journals, the internet and other scholarly publications to source information and to perform research with some supervisions
  2. Learners knowledge of advanced concepts in Anatomy will be enhanced
  3. Learner will be required to take modules in the use of anatomical techniques and perform specialised techniques used in Life sciences.

Integrated assessment

  1. The presentation of a mini dissertation will reflect on the student's ability to organise and explain research data.
  2. Candidates will undergo continuous assessment in research methodology techniques and anatomical techniques in Health and Natural Science via theoretical, practical, and proficiency testing.
  3. Modules requiring a written examination will provide an indication of the acquisition of advanced and integrated anatomical concepts.
  4. An oral examination and oral presentation of seminars will test the candidate for knowledge, communication and presentation skills.
