Purpose and rationale
- To teach learners how to be in control of the flow of management information, relate financial forecast to actual results achieved, monitor sales and profit trend and provide on alternative actions that can be taken.
- To teach learners at an advanced level how to design and manage information systems (including technology).
- To equip learners with relevant knowledge of advising clients on a wide variety of matters which can be crucial for success or failure from computer systems to personnel and from corporate strategies to marketing and investments.
- To prepare learners for advancement to masters and other Cost and Management Accounting Profession qualifications.
Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience. In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.
