A qualifying learner will be competent to perform all the functions of a Human Resource Officer in both the public and private sectors.

The qualification will also be awarded to a learner who has provided evidence that the stated competence of the qualification has been achieved through experience.
Level 5 (E.g. National Higher Certificate (Diploma): Human Resource Management or equivalent).
