The qualification aims
- To provide learners with a broad understanding in an international context of an aspect of human society, political organisation, economics, history, culture and religion.
- To give learners a grounding in specific language and business skills.
- To facilitate entry into several fields including business, marketing, public service, diplomacy, journalism, publishing and social services.
Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience. In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.

- Engage confidently and logically in oral discussion and debate.
