Purpose and rationale

This qualification aims

  • To compound and expand the learners knowledge in the field of Zoology.
  • To train learners to conduct research in the field of Zoology, including the ability to plan basic research qualifications, experiments, surveys.
  • To be applied and conducted in the fields of conservation, pest management and fundamental scientific research.

Entry requirements and RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience.

In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.
