Purpose and rationale
This qualification aims to achieve proficiency in both scholarship and professional training at all undergraduate levels within the general filed of the social sciences.
The aim is to realise graduates who are equipped with generic skills and have acquired substantial knowledge in a range of disciplines, that will enable them not only to have an enhanced understanding of their society and the world but will also prepare them to embark on a career and to create opportunities for themselves.
Entry requirements and RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institution conducts RPL in terms of the policy and guidelines of the institution to recognise other forms of formal, informal and non-formal learning and experience. In cases where learners do not comply with the formal admission requirements, the institution applies its RPL policy.

The minimum entry requirement for this qualification is
- Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy, NQF Level 7.
Or
- Bachelor of Accountancy, NQF Level 7.

- Been introduced to principles of business law and accountancy.
- Develop quantitative and computing skills as applied to business situations.

- Sensitise to moral and social responsibility issues as these effects the management function.
