Exit level outcomes
- To provide qualifiers with graduate-level knowledge, specific skills and applied competence in a number of fields of economic and management sciences that provide opportunities for continued personal intellectual growth, gainful economic activity and rewarding contributions to society.
- To provide South Africa with significant numbers of graduates in a number of economic and management sciences fields, in order to ensure that the local leadership base of innovative and knowledge-based economic and scholarly activity is widened.
- To provide South Africa with graduates with entrepreneurial skills as well as competencies in the Economic and Management Sciences which will advance the economy of the country, create jobs and wealth for the benefit of the community.
Associated assessment criteria
Formative and summative assessment methods are used, in the format of written or oral tests and exams, supervision of practical work, presentation of case studies, simulations, assignments and practical assessment of applicable skills.
